New Orleans Hornets guard Eric Gordon was scratched from the team’s three preseason games last week and could be out of action until the
final days leading up to the season opener, reports Steve Aschburner of
NBA.com.
"You have to be careful with injured players," one NBA head coach said recently about Gordon. "There's a reason some guys always get injured. He wasn't healthy even before last season."
Gordon continues to be hampered by the same knee injury that
kept him out for all but nine games last season.
Injuries have been an issue for Gordon over his entire
career, as he’s missed 103 of the possible 230 games he could have played over
the past three seasons.
