The Cleveland Cavaliers were without two players Tuesday in their preseason game against the Indiana Pacers. Daniel Gibson and Luke Harangody both sat out last night. Gibson had concussion symptoms and Harangody is battling a sprained right knee.
According to Mary Schmitt Boyer of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Gibson reported concussion symptoms Monday and must pass the NBA's concussion protocol. Harangody's knee injury also came to light on Monday.
Gibson has been with the Cavalier for his entire career. He is entering his seventh NBA season, and in his career he's averaged 8.2 points per game. He has also averaged 2.0 assists per game. Gibson's will likely come off the bench for the Cavaliers this season. He has averaged 23.9 minutes per game.
Luke Harangody started his career with the Boston Celtics. He was traded to the Cavaliers in the middle of his first season. He has spent the last 2 1/2 seasons in Cleveland. During his NBA career, Harangody has averaged just 3.6 points per game. He has only played an averaged of 12.4 points per game.
