Milwaukee Bucks forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute is expected
to miss the majority of training camp while recovering from offseason knee
surgery, reports Charles F. Gardner of the Journal Sentinel:
"It's getting better every day," Mbah a Moute said during the interviews Monday at the Cousins Center. "I don't think I'll be on the court during training camp. I'm hoping to be back sometime soon, though."
Mbah a Moute underwent surgery on his right patella tendon
in May. He was hampered by the knee injury for much of last season. The Bucks
have said the 26-year-old will be out for an extended period, but an exact
timeframe hasn’t been put on the forward’s recovery.
With Mbah a Moute sidelined, Gardner notes that Tobias
Harris, Mike Dunleavy and Marquis Daniels will compete for time at the small
forward spot.
